About Badon's Art

Hello, lovely readers!

Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Sylvia, a passionate self-taught artist. While I don’t have a formal background in art, my heart beats for creativity, and my hands itch to bring beauty into the world.

The Call of Nature

Nature has always been my muse. The rustling leaves, the vibrant blooms, and the graceful flight of birds—they all whisper secrets to my soul.

Birds, in particular, have captured my imagination. Their feathers, colors, and unique personalities inspire my illustrations. From the majestic eagle, brown pelican or great heron to the tiny hummingbird, each avian friend tells a story waiting to be shared on paper.

My Artistic Journey

My journey began with a simple sketchbook and a handful of colored pencils. I’d sit by the window, observing the red cardinals outside, and translate their beauty onto paper. Over time, my strokes became bolder, my lines more confident. However, I always use a reference photos, to achieve maximum accurateness.

I experimented with watercolors, acrylics, and digital tools. Some days, I’d lose myself in a flurry of colors, while others, I’d patiently layer shades to capture the essence of a feathered friend.

Polymer Clay Magic

But wait, there’s more!

Apart from illustrations, I’ve dabbled in polymer clay earrings. Yes, those delightful, wearable pieces of art! I specialize in faux marble, but I have so much more on my head - so stay tuned, and watch as my collection is growing.  Each pair tells a story—a whisper of nature’s elegance.

What’s Next?

As I continue this artistic journey, I’m excited to explore new subjects. Landscapes, abstracts, and perhaps even mythical creatures — I want to spread my wings (pun intended) and let my creativity soar.

So, dear Reader, join me on this adventure. Let’s celebrate art, nature, and the joy of creating together.

Until next time,
